“Promoters of Social Inclusion” Training
The Association of Students with Disabilities invites all pupils of high-schools with disabilities to apply to the training where they will be empowered to become promoters of social inclusion. The topics of equality, self-representation as well as independence will be discussed at the training. The participants of the training will be empowered to reach their goals, to overcome barriers and fight for equality of conditions in further education.
Two trainings will be held:
1) In Vrnjačka Banja, from 14 to 16 November, for the pupils of high-schools from the south of Serbia
2) In Vršac, from 7 to 9 November, for the pupils of high-schools from the north of Serbia
The Association of Students with Disabilities will cover all costs of transport and accommodation of the participants.
After the training, the participants will have the task to organise an activity in their schools, to promote social inclusion. Within the organisation and implementation of such an activity, they will have support of a peer mentor who will direct them, advise them and visit them. The Association of Students with Disabilities will ensure all financial and logistical support.

The training is organised with the support called “Peer Mentorship as the Support to Young People with Disabilities in an Inclusive Society” which has been supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
